The STIHL FSA 50 is a battery-powered grass trimmer that is perfect for taking on trimming, mowing and lawn edging work in your home garden. Part of the AK System of battery tools, this grass trimmer is designed for domestic garden maintenance.
The FSA 50 is supplied with the AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head which can be refilled without the need for tools. It can also be used with the PolyCut 3-2 too (sold separately). The grass trimmer is fitted with a soft grip round handle that can be adjusted without the need for tools. It also has a re-designed adjustable telescopic shaft and a mowing head that can be set at 3 different angles. This helps you trim in awkward areas, such as underneath benches or when mowing along slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains. A newly designed spacer bracket helps keep the cutting head clear of plants and other obstacles. Plus, the mowing head can be rotated 90 degrees for trimming along lawn edges.
A variable speed trigger allows you to precisely control the speed of the mowing head, which helps to extend runtime per charge. Excellent balance and a low weight make this an ideal entry-level grass trimmer for domestic garden maintenance.
On a full charge with the AK 10 battery, the FSA 50 has a working time of up to 25 minutes. What’s more, this battery provides perfect balance when used, making work even more comfortable!
